    I Want to Write like You
   (dedicated to the poets at Passions)

I want to write like you
looking for a view snow capped
I want to fly and point to the place I mean
where trees all speaking to me scream

I want to walk where you walk
on the path that leads through mead owned meaning
dig holes and watch the tide take
the grains of sand into the deep of weep
between the rim and the fall
is all

I want to write like you
the meaning just beyond the cloud
so clear my dear
you would be the me that sees

I want to write the dirty part
in bumpy bump fall into dark
to heat the skin until a song long night
has taken to gasping my intend
to ignite the spark to flame again

I want to touch     just touch your rhyme
and write a song that love defines

I want to write like you

WOW!!!You don't need to write like anyone one but you. There is so much passion in your words that you leave me in awe...uniquely you in every way and that is what we love so much about each other...everyone of us is so very different and brings so many visions and feelings to life. *sigh* How I would love to write like you. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I want to walk where you walk
on the path that leads through mead owned meaning
dig holes and watch the tide take

You, Martie, are so very talented. I wish I could capture the type of imagery that you write so beautifully. You always leave me with such lovely and unique visuals in my mind. Very much enjoyed this thought-filled piece.

very same words...each of us have unique
qualities which we put in our poetry...and
we each are sometimes wanting to write the
way someone else does...I think I have
always wanted to write like you...You have
such a flair to your style...SOOOOO....don't
change!!!
