There is no more war and no more hate. Everything in America is finally going great. There is no more sickness and no more pain. We have everything to live for and so much to gain. Nobody has to wonder about their next meal. Everything is fine and happiness is what they feel. Ther are no more children being abused. Just plenty of love for them to use. No more old folks wondering why no one cares. Now everyone does and are doing their share. I know this is a dream and when I awake. Everything will be the same no give just take. How wonderful this would be if this dream came true. I would be so happy and everyone else would be too.   Juanita |

Juanita, I like your poem! But isn't it sad that the news is so full of doom, gloom and downright misinformation? It is easy to look at people and things, out of context, especially when we are given news for entertainment instead of information, and believe truthfully that things are bad (or good)just by reading someone's words and creating illusions or dreams of what we believe would be good or bad. What people should or shouldn't be or do? You bet we would be happy, Juanita... Wouldn't that be amazing...if we had nothing to worrry about. My sister and brother in law flew to Florida last week to see my mother, and they made my brother in law take his shoes off for security. The crazy thing is that he was wearing loafers...my sister was wearing sneakers and they didn't ask her to take hers off...and the guy who tried to set fire to his shoes was wearing sneakers! Sometimes I worry about airport security...but I'm happy they're both back home safely now. Great poem...  copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |

Juanita my dearest friend this was as usual for you utterly utterly wonderful. Its such a special read each word flowing into the next. No one writes the way you do darling girl nobody. You are an utterly UTTERLY superb writer and this is fabulous. I always enjoy your writing and this is just sooooooo wonderful. I doubt if everyone who reads this will see the depth of meaning here but I see hope.
