And when finally the frigid air descends my breath is caught passing cold teeth and the liquid sky has turned crystaline falling in fast rippling waves across the lake there is no movement as if the dense air has forbidden it and I begin crunching through the crust trying not to slip on wind bared ice I don't know where I am heading to only that I am leaving little of consequence just the time wasted on every day worries I am just trying to get by I warm with the effort of every step my heart now pounding with exertion and I find I am enjoying myself lost within this elemental storm |

Very interesting, James. I could feel that frigid cold wind blowing, the face of adversity against the face of determination. "I warm with the effort of every step my heart now pounding with exertion and I find I am enjoying myself lost within this elemental storm" |

James Bowie...I've never thought of a storm as sensual, exciting. But this poem does exactly that. ***Ivy Rose |
