What is it that makes one
Not stay away?
What is it that makes one's
Thoughts wander, and wonder?

Why is it so disorienting
To believe you see someone
And then not be so sure...
Looking so hard that
Your eyes play tricks
In selective sight.

What is that in the sky?
Is it really a cloud,
Or something else?

And what of the bright
Bonfire?Are there
Not visions in those
Dancing flames?
Or is it simply
A dancing flame?

And then, what of
The curling smoke?
Is that not an apparition
In the haze?

I follow my heart
With eyes through
Which my soul
Gazes.

If I follow my mind,
I question myself too
Closely:

Am I in love
Or
Am I insane?

*sigh* they say that love does strange things..I know for me it makes the world seem a very magical place to be...I become dreamy and I guess the eyes see what they want to see....**big hugs** you aren't insane.
