Between Your Heart And Mine Is there a space between your heart and mine? A place where they don’t beat in unified time I can feel your pulse beat in the heart of me And know I am moving though you heatedly There’s never a moment when I’m not with you I’m in the breeze the sun and in the sky of blue When the wind gently brushes your parted lips Feel its touch its my softly questing fingertips Is there a place within your soul I don’t touch? Or a moment you don’t feel I love you so much The stars shoot across heaven trailing delight And wrap us in their sparkling shining light Feel the touch of me as it floods through you I’m in the air you breathe in everything you do When you feel the sun softly kissing your face It’s me you feel the sun is just taking my place Is there a part of your mind that doesn’t feel me? A time that you feel deprived of my certainty When your blood passes deep into your heart Feel me in it as it flows into that vital part I’m the scent you inhale feel me within you Every thought every taste I’m there all through There’s no space between your heart and mine We’ll be together until there’s no more time Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 [This message has been edited by Marsha (01-29-2002 08:44 PM).] |
