The Shores of Alone

Look deeply in my eyes, sweet love
do not turn back, nor run away
for time will be the robber of
our silken bond, if you don't stay.

Touch me with all the strength within
your deepest heart, so made of gold
take me to heaven, where we've been
my lover, do not sell your soul.

Hold me with arms of molten steel
kiss me with lips so burning hot
remember all that we can feel
Too late? Oh no, I say it's not.

Let love return from misty blue
for all of mine I give to you.

*sigh* not a hopeless cause at all for your words show that your heart is waiting for love to hold you in arms of steel and give love life again...This is beautiful...**big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I've written a few 'hopeless cause' poems myself.  BTW...you make this sonnet thing seems effortless.  Really related to this verse.

The misty blue is not a good place to be…but oh, when we return from it…we see the world through a whole new perspective, don’t we? A beautiful sonnet Sandra…to a not so helpless cause.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
