Abused Child Tanka Piercing through my soul by your eyes which sodomize to melt masks away exposing bare ugliness of a child bruised by the past By Melissa P. Monette |

*sigh* with few words you were able to capture the horror that comes with being an abused child. I applaud you for writing this masterpiece that is so powerful...**big hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Melissa, Because I have such a dear love of children the subject of child abuse in any form has always greatly disturbed me. I won't call this a good poem for obvious reasons, but will wish you a peaceful heart and a pleasant evening. Michael Michael Auguste~ |

I love children, I've taken 3 childcare training coures so I can work in daycare. As a child and teen I was subjected to verbal abuse No child should ever be abused in any way! RP |

Child abuse is the most cowardly and hideous of crimes, the mental and physical anguish scars them for life.I thank you for touching on this subject and therefore bringing it to light. The more aware people are, the greater likelihood they will recognize the signs in children and rescue them. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Soooooo very heartbreaking, sweet friend, my heart cries out to all these poor innocent children who are abused and I pray we can all reach out and heal their wounds and offer them love and help! (big hugggsssssss) I too was abused as a child emotionally and physically, and while I am now the sensitive loving person I have dreamed of being, I still miss so much and am saddened by the youth I've lost! (kiss on cheek) Sooooo very sad, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heartl, sweet Melissa, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Melissa, you are too be congradulated on this piece, not just for your wonderful Tanka style but also for your choice of topic. I did a challenge a year or two back on abuse of children as you may or may not recall, so you know how much this poem means to me. Tremendous job here!!! It is a blessing to have wings for words and passion in pen. |
