Ambrosia Wine

Your eyes mesmerize me with their flame
melting my heart from the heat I feel
They capture my gaze staking your claim
with the bold passion that they reveal

A warmth is burning throughout my veins
as you take me into your embrace
Strong arms enfold me within love’s chains
with your steady steps setting the pace

You lead in the dance, filled with desire,
while I silently whisper your name
Your touch is setting my flesh on fire
as my eyes shine with love to proclaim

Your lips descend to gently brush mine
and share love’s taste from your teasing kiss
While we sip from such ambrosia wine
nothing else in the real world exists

There you have it ... a perfect love moment!
Your work just flowed down the page and my eyes followed, unbidden!
Well done, indeed!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I'm not much for wine but I wouldn't mind a sip of this.  You write the best romance, Karen!

Karen...I don't think I have ever had
Ambrosia wine...IS there such a thing?

I do know one thing....passion and love
flows from each line of this sensual dance
of two lovers....Very beautifully done...

Your heart pumps passionate poetry 24/7...
No doubt about it...
