I See Him

I see Him in soft clouds as they drift by.
And in the rays of sun that warm my face.
I see Him in the petals of the rose.
And smell the sweet perfume that drifts in space.
I see Him in the river bed below.
And in the warm and glowing of the moon.
I see Him in the leaves that gently fall.
And in the sweet birds song as they do call.
And then I see Him in your heart of gold.
That love from you to me that I behold.
And if my days of life I ne're see Him.
Then I am death without a soul within.
