Bondage Love? I'm sure you jest T'would kill this love with which we're blessed You'd tie our love with whips and chains Cause it to suffer many pains I think not and I should know I would not give in, would love forego Tie me down and bind up me? Gag my mouth to set me free Use great pain to love renew I don't think so… nor do you Who has moved your mind to this Love is passion not steel's kiss Love is pulled by wild desire And not held by pain of fire Torture cannot bind the troth And in love it makes one wrath Once our love so pure and free Is sullied by this agony Use your bondage and you'll find Instead of loves renew of mind You'll be left cold and sear of heart Passion's lust would cause us to part Bondage love? This cannot be If you would stay in tune with me Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Suetang, this is a little different for me thanks for responding Silver Streak, thanks for not complaining that I corrupted the meaning in your poem. I know they images are not close but the title inspired me, your words took me in a different and more noble direction completely, but my mind had run ahead and penned this. Zinsser, I'd like to agree with you but it's probably closer to very wicked. Enchantress, thank you it seems my inspiration went straight to the crass. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Keth darling sister of my heart and keeper of my souls tears, what am I supposed to say to this? Hmmmmm? Am I supposed to compliment you on it’s flow and rhythm? Both of which are excellent, I suppose you think it’s clever do you? Capping me time after time. Really darling heart, this isn’t fair, is it? No darling heart it isn’t. Yes-blah blah, wonderful writing and so on and so on, do you really want me to write that you know it’s true. Can’t you just copy down one of my previous answers? Or do I have to do that too? Good grief work work work, are you never content? Oh all right then ‘tis wonderful writing and beautiful construction, satisfied dear heart? Good I’m off. I’ll speak to you later vengeance is brewing, and it will be dire Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 |

So glad I didn't miss this Keth. It is a passionate rejection of bondage love. Well done, in content and poetic presentation. How could anyone misunderstand this message? |

Well said! I certainly agree with your statements! There were a couple glitches, but not being able to see the poem here on this same page it's hard for me to point them out. I'll try and go back and forth. No I wasn't successful. Something's going on, I think. It just kept spinning and the page didn't come up. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Dear Kethry, I read this title and passed it by a couple of times, not being into odd stuff. (Or any stuff for the last 20 years I guess- but that's another and more boring story) But finally, I said, Kethry wrote it, you know it's good, read it! I'm glad I listened to me, cause it is good. Of course, I agree wholeheartedly, and isn't it sad that some people are so confused? Anyway, good one. Nan |
