To the friend I've found within you someone listening when I talk someone soft to wander into someone with me when I walk To the friend you are beside me sometimes just as lost as I sometimes just to lay beside me hug me tightly as I cry To the friend I see from my side filled with problems of your own all the feelings that you dont hide all the sides you've freely shown To the friend that trusts me dearly telling me the things you feel this alone can only tell me that the girl inside is real To the friend I want to hear this in your life you're not alone many times I try to show this hope you know I'm always "home" To a friend who's touched me deeply always showing that you care when you ask if you're succeeding think of all the love you share To my friend who questions often "Am I loved? Do people care?" Take it from a heart you soften... ...listen to the words I share. Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |
