Who dares to dream the dream of love?
In passions bright shining array
Who dares to seek the stars above?
And bring them to the light of day

Who strives to grasp the lambent moon?
Shape her glow to loves delight
Who dares to love too much to soon?
And in loving hold back the night

Who shines to rise, in rising takes
the sweetest claim of endless time?
Who would for love all else forsake
To dream the dreams of Eros clime

Who walks the path of love's caress?
In shrouded dark to hear the voice
Who loves always in tenderness?
In choosing life confirms love's choice

Who rises up to grasp love's truth?
Those rainbows sought in loves' embalm
To dream of love in lust of youth
And follow love with all its charm

Who seeks to find a lover's face?
Who dares to show a heart of care?
Tho' soft the call of love's embrace
Who dares the dream…I dare, I dare

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Hello Kethry

I most certainly dare! This was so beautiful and was like something taken straight from the pages of Shakespeare.  So stunning were the images and I was totally swept away by the romance.......exquisite!

Take care......Sue

Good good good!!

Love is daring for sure, but isn't it what makes the world go round!
I mean if we didn't dare would we just get off without a care?
No, that's not an option, because chances are we'd just hop back on again!!

Oh I liked this so much!!

Keth darling sister of my heart and holder of my soul Oh my I’m stunned with admiration this has got to be one of you utter utter best. Truly the line and flow in this is absolutely excellent. This is so incredibly beautiful, a perfect discription of what love is and how it releases the soul from holding back.

You are always a fabulous writer, in this you have excelled yourself.

If you keep writing like this I shall start running out of superlatives and that would never do would it?

Who rises up to grasp love's truth?

And follow love with all its charm

Who seeks to find a lover's face?

This sings to me it positively sings glorianas, wonderful wonderful writing

Stevie, as long as you are not double-daring me.  You can pursue the dream with a vengeance...and do if your wife's words are anything to go by.

Startime, thanks for the hugs and the bravo! Pursue the dream?and see love's gleam.

Noah, as you can see I'm passionate about love...and a little lust.

Suetang, Shakepeare Wow! although to be honest I've been compared to Shakespeare before although it was Alan Shakespeare who runs the local fish market... Actually I was compared more to Alan's fish.

Blues Serenade, I'm glad, glad, glad you liked it. My work  here is done!

Duncan, thank you so much. I love it when my words are quoted back to me for they take on a life of their own and I can see them clearly.

Marsha, you don't have to write superlatives on my work, that you respond and continue to love me despite my foibles is praise enough for a lifetime. Thanks dearheart.

Pilgrimage, it's ok some of us have to watch those back burners to make sure no-one escapes the wenches revenge.

strbbux, if you dare the dream then it will come.

Marsha I win! I win.   Eagleone said so...and he speaks truth. Eagle thanks for letting me win!

Larry, the one thing I like about me...Is I never know how a poem going to turn out until its done...there's great optimism and anticipation in that.

Mysteria, ok I can see how you might want to sit this one out...but next time you're dancing ok?

Keth

Sunshine, if you are keeping it...it must be good. Thank you lovely lady.

Keth darling sister of my heart and treacherous perfidious beast, HOW could you? Mmmm Win when my back was turned. You cheated didn’t you? Hmmm How much did you pay Eagle One to declare you the winner? Mmmm You know that disqualifies you so I win on points yet again.

As for superlatives darling heart you do deserve them but I’ve used my entire stock of Keth superlatives and you’ll have to have some that’s been recycled! And don’t pout saying you want new because I’m not made of superlatives you know. The good ones cost money and I’m too busy paying out money in ….. Whoops I nearly let that slip. You’re not the only one who can stoop to perfidy and treachery you know. I’ll rally the troops you’ll see they’ll come to my flag of honour and we shall trounce you, you utter wretch.

Apart from that I’m sending this back to the top because although you are a perfidious treacherous soul I still adore you. However it won’t save you when I gather the troops, be you ever so beloved, you’ll be trounced

See you soon ohhhhh perfidious one
