The Shores of Alone

I summon thee to come here now
to hear my cry, of this I vow
through heavy cloaks of shadowed night
now is the time to make it right.

I summon thee to make amends
to stand beside who you called friend
a wind of change is blowing strong
just follow now, it won't take long.

I summon thee to show true heart
let distance not keep us apart
for in the holding of my soul
you have not ever let me go.

Tis time to cease this cruel torment
though you may be from darkness sent
to me, heaven is where you dwell
I summon thee, to deny hell.

Extremely strong words filled with emotion and pain.  You certainly have a beautiful pen.  Enjoyed and into my library.

This hit very close to home today, Sandra.....
It touched me.

Sandra,
powerful writing, it is almost a chanting spell.
