This buzzing sound drags on, driving me insane Everyone talks relatively louder intensifying my pain "Shut Up" is the phrase I want to yell My head is pounding relentlessly, can't you tell? I took two extra strength tylenols Needless to say, they didn't help at all! I want peace and quiet for one hour but everything seems to get ten decibles louder In my head, it's an echoing fire drill I need some morphine, forget these useless pills I wish to be at the library....Quiet Instead I'm trapped in almost a zoo riot Times like this I wanna wire shut people's jaws Or pick up the remote and put life on pause! Oh I am so sorry about your headache, but i have to say that last line really gave me a chuckle. Wish I could do that too. Use the remote and put life on pause..just till the headache went away.I hope it's gone. floria |

LOL...i feel your pain. Sometimes I just want to shut everything and everyone out but most of the time it doesn't work. Your quiet time will come! Poetry is spiritual ventilation! |

I have suffered from migraines for years so believe me when I say, "I feel your pain!" Try an icepack... Good example of a monster headache. Mike |

Sometimes earplugs work or just a long walk by yourself. The last line with the remote was the kicker. Enjoyed. |

RosePetal, I fought chronic migraines for two solid years. Three weeks to three months at a time. I suggest you do what I did. I gave them up! (I was worried this poem, based on its title, was for someone.)LOL |

I know it's not funny when you're head is splitting. If only it was that easy to put life on pause! You've got the right idea anyway! |
