A beautiful blanket

"And on a cold night, two under the same blanket can gain warmth from each other. But how can one be warm alone?" KJVEcclesiastes 4:11

Our soul is a beautiful bright blanket
Woven together from many a thread
God gives us a start through our genes and a heart
A mind to improve everything we do.

We start with a thread of sex in our cloth
Spirit of woman, or man God has made
Race we inherit from family trees
Back generations bring patterns to us.

Talents God gives us develops more strings
Interests and cultures soon add more things
Learn many skills; travel valleys and hills
Our soul makes us whole; we fuse in God's Love.

And growing in light our blanket shines bright
To glorify God through day and the night
A beautifully woven creation
Making total body and spirit whole
A wonderful being, our total soul,

Woven into a beautiful blanket.

What beautiful thoughts are here, I have seen movies where people are snowed in with no heat and that is what they do to keep warm. All get under one blanket. Bodies keep bodies warm. Nice sentiment here Newell. floria
