Here I stand in front of you
Seeming to have a face
But if you look close, it's true
I'm only wasted space

There's nothing inside of me

I am a void and hollow
I feel not what I should
These pills I have to swallow
Just so I can 'feel good'

Still, nothing inside of me

I am to be nothing but wasted space
Breathing the air that belongs to you
My empty eyes looking into your face
As I stand here numbly, old as new

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Let me be no more

The talent it took to created this poem shows clearly that you are not wasted space...you have a heart and soul filled with the magic of words....Keep writing we need what you have inside to share with us. **big hugs**

great poem

no longer afraid of the dark
or mid day shadows
nothing so ridiculously
teenage and desperate
