You find yourself looking at windows that filter the glare of winter, how the days seem to bind against shadows of light still posted in silence. The wind brings slight changes to drifts of glistening snow exciting them in a mild dance of dreams for second thoughts begining. Your breathe creates it's own dance upon the paine of glass to which it freezes your life in some far out comprimise of hope. And you swim in your anarchy, not wanting to move foward only to drift in indiference letting second and third chances leave. What passes as hope and sanity is fake, long ago departed dreams that you cannot quite remember but swear you still have the taste. Then along comes the snow, not really cleansing, just a cover letting your fears subside for a bit as the first tear falls, and you breathe. |
