I do not dream of ocean's spray-- I have felt the slap of waves in wash of tears away from face, but for you, in sands, I'll fry. Papillon--a worm, cocooned? Transforming darkness into noon... I wish that I could give to you freedom of wings grown inside. A butterfly, in search of sea. I am her, as she is me... patterned flight of freedom's wing a whimsy's plight of my own eyes. How can it be, that "twin" is born? Apart from me, yet birthed in scorn? I am her darkness, she's my morn... enchanting, she is "tantalize." Mon Papillon, I'll write a raft. I'll edit--I'll delete "perhaps." Let's gauge the tide to ride, my friend. at ocean's door--we'll meet--again... * love you Jan. |

K did you just know how much I needed this today(yes you know)...thank you baby... god,this is so beautiful...yes..you know my unrequited mothy self well...  so many mirrors baby..so many times, I've found pieces of myself in your gifted rhymes. So often your muse gives voice when mine has no words of its own. I both love and thank you for that ...and for this...you know poetry is my most treasured gift. For 2 years now...your friendship and poetry has granted me the serenity your pen name offers, just knowing you were there and understood across the distances, bridged by the things we found in common.
