Specks in float afore my eyes--
I'm dumb enough to stare at sun.
On my back, I'm hypnotized
as all creation comes undone.

Perhaps it is but specks of dust
that float across the lens of eye--
and maybe it's just tears in rust,
and how much more than this, am I?

My view is just perspective's glare
words in climb of spiral stair...
preponderance of "something there"
enthralled to watch my own demise.

Existance as a mere illusion--
convinced that I'm my own delusion.

Serenity...Tears and rust don't tink so much..nor are they so introspective.  Deep reach..and well done!

Sweet sister Serenity, we must be warmed by the same sun, yet it is -24F in the sunshine here today! Anyway, tears are good for washing away the dirty dust of the earth.

To say we all have our own perspective is mere understatement.  I really love the way you ended this one, K.  Excellent, as always.

(big hugggsssssss) Sooooo sad but beautiful, sweet friend, existance can indeed be an illusion, but as long as we find our place in the sun and be dusted rather in the sunlight and the stardust, we will find true happiness and our delusions will become loving promises! (kiss on cheek) Sooooooo beautifully expressed, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I actually experienced this poem. Yes, that's true! Ha ha, I had some gelly stuff come undone in the back of my eye and saw just what you described!  It was a trip, let me tell you   I'm sure this is entirely off the subject but it hit me so I had to tell you

Serenity, I really liked your poetry. The last two lines were the perfect closer. Nice job. Cheryl

Yes, I think sometimes we’re all convinced that we’re just our own delusion. And as for that rust in the eyes…damn, I hate when that happens…I figure it’s just me getting old and falling apart though!!

Interesting thoughts, Karen. I think often that life as a whole must be delusion, but who knows. You, my friend, are no delusion, not with this writing you do.

I have so many delusions that I was able to truly feel this poem...when one is lost in so much fantasy love the rust and tears cloud the vision even more. Magnificent poem. I love it. **big hugs**

serenity,
Unless we're all delusional, you're not. We can see you through your words, which, I might add, are often quite extraoridinary( as in this case).
