I'm the keeper of the dragon, mistress of the flame. the portal through which, life comes to him. In return, he gives me the same. I choose to lay flesh to scale, near him there lies no fear, For I am only found, when totally lost. Locked beneath his golden stare. There is beauty in the contrast, pale hand stroking emerald chest. And my heart beats out a rhapsody. Drowned in his tears, falling on my breast. Let me be in this sweet pairing, for I will surely not be the same. Were I to lose my love, my dragon. And be not the mistress, of his flame. |

Thank you again. I like the place this is going, but the meter is just "off" to me. Suggestions are always welcome and appreciated. ~Sandi |
