In the flowing quiet
where an imagination waves
he closes his eyes
and becomes the duty
of small keys
a knick knack of brass
opening locked windows
subtly separating
the tiny pieces of eternity

Time, how is it you escaped
Like water eating stone
fragments disappeared when brides
let their hair fall under
the moon’s wild dance,
when children whispered
I lay me down to sleep

Time, the wine created from the
cluster of astringent
sweet grapes
It is as it is
A December dusk gone
A curve of earth lying flat
as the breeze visits the ocean’s
tide

His hands created fancy
are now tangled slivers of thorns
His body once raging
is a river of wasted strokes
He keeps appointments in the dark
and collects photographs of
brilliant descents

In the flowing quiet
an imagination waves
closing his eyes
he is the duty
of small keys
a knick knack of brass
opening locked windows
subtly separating
the tiny pieces of eternity

let her hair fall under
the moon’s wild dance

It is as it was,
A December dusk gone
A curve of earth lying flat
while a breeze visits the ocean’s
tide

The separation is inevitable
and time just keeps on keeping on!

Love that voice of yours.

(sigh) Soooooooo sad but beautiful, sweet friend, time can do such inevitable effects on us and some can be sooooo painful, but time will always offer us gifts too that are inevitable and will bring hope and light to all our hearts with eternal guarantee! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

A Tone of Voice--

This was very well done...you weave words into feeling, into a person..and it hurts a bit to read.

ahhhhh ATOV...we are the makers of eternity, the forgers of our keys,
that cannot and willnot fit any other lock, save our own
I have always felt that some moments are without time...they exist existentialy, without the burdens and confines of time.  They are just meant to be experience,
however long it takes.

*smiling*  if you wrote any better, i would have to offer you a publishing contract!
that is...if i HAD a publishing company.....
Thank you for your friendship and your replies, ATOV  (ps...i was wondering when you would get around to posting some more!)  coooooool!
