Time Doesn't Stop

It's knowing when it's over
And it's time to move ahead.
Looking back will strain your neck
and tense you with the dread.

It's knowing when you've had enough
the words in silence, scrawl.
It's time to move ahead, the clock
keeps ticking, through it all.

There is no use to inch along.
To shuffle, holds you back.
It's knowing when the time has come,
your baggage needs, must pack.

It's knowing when the last is done,
when firsts now you will be.
It's time to move ahead this day,
tomorrow, to be free.
~Wynter

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
(J.Garland)

it was just a few words I jotted down before going to bed last night.. I never take my own advice nor hardly ever that of others *s

I just keep reminding of the worth of myself and the worthlessness of events around me...trying to climb over all the walls that rise before me.

Thank you,Kit

I like to give a single rose when I'm especially moved by a poem, but let me show you what these words meant to me today...........

Floria..well this isn't so much about time as it is about it being time..*s to move on, forget the past, work towards my goals of being successful, as I am at the moment and begin to live again.

Kathleen...
you make me feel great, always
thank you

J. K. Mitchell...
yes, not so much about the future
as it is planning each day and
accomplishing one thing at a time.

Thank you

**big hugs** you open your heart to us with this poem and though you jotted it down last night and think it does not affect you, you are a true poet who writes what her heart is feeling...you have planted the seeds of this advice within your heart and your muse will nourish it to grow a garden of strong, beautiful flowers. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Very true and wisdom filled.  Your words spoke what most are afraid to accept, maybe some will read this and............

Write from the soul and the words will flow

So true.. time stops for no one.. and we should definitely always keep moving.

Good throught provoking write.. I need these kinds of mental pushes quite often..

Sometimes...most times..it is best for us to
do just what you have said...Time to move on
and do what we need ourselves...You have
said it clearly and accurately...
