In Unwanted Limbo

Ignored for a reason
What could it be
I search for answers
Perhaps it is me

I’m blaming myself
The limit pushed
Left with my heart
Severely crushed

Heart still remains
In a tearful flow
Silence causing
The cruelest blow

Will  silence break
Only time will tell
A heart forgotten
Is an empty shell

In unwanted limbo
I shall descend
My only wish is
For silence to end

I know that feeling too..but the wondering sometimes does so much emotional damage...is it worth it..I have decided no, it's not. I hope you get the answers you want/need.

Hope, isn't it amazing how powerful a weapon silence can be? You've addressed the hurt in a wonderfully written poem. Cheryl
