A poem inspired by Brianbeaudry's
beautiful write "Enchanted Night"

Transfixed

The night has cast, transfixed its spell.
I rest beneath its glowing lights,
caressed by thoughts that captivate,
from gaze of blue that warms, ignites.

The maze of you reveals to one,
connecting souls awash in myst.
Nakedthoughts in silent speak,
the darkness loud, in dreams' resist.

Each breeze that flows to cradled arms,
shadows one, to fall within.
Enchanted, I, by all your charms
that reign as moonlight settles in.

Lost in thought of crescent moon.
In wait of full, returning soon.

Maureen

**with thanks to Bb** for inspiring me so.

It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

I beem with pride knowing that one of my poems inspired the beauty of this verse!! There is nothing like the brilliance and mystery of the night sky to inspire emotion.  I'll include my poem in this responce so others can see the birth of yours.

Enchanting Night

Sweet blanket of the night
bring star's caress to sight
Vastness, hold fast my gaze
infinities of your maze
Naked skies reveal the flight
of cosmos awash in light
Mystical voices listen, hark!
loud silence of the dark
Evening breeze hold me nigh
in dreams of nocturnal sky
Bright luminosity of moon
cradle gently my swoon
As I fall in shadowed arms
enchanted by your charms

Absolutely gorgeous, Maureen...and a beautiful complement to Brian's poem  which is also a beautiful poem...
(its amazing how that word keeps popping up)

Kudos to two terrific poets!
