He Writes He writes, that’s what he does he writes His words they shimmer with golden lights Silver beams touch the paper from his pen And the words form like dancers and then He writes a phrase turns it around with a spin Then turns it again to seek the words within Without a pause his words flow on and on And then he chases his muse until it’s gone He writes, that’s what he does writes words Lines spill from his pen flying free like birds Soaring in the sky each released at last to fly Free and high looping the loop exalation sky His lines flowing over the page in sheer delight Sparkling with hope and shining with light Endlessly these lines move on they carry me My heart and soul flow with them wildly free He writes, that’s what he does writes light It flows over the page with impish delight Bringing joy and hopes of a better tomorrow Banishing fear and sending back sorrow It skips across the page illuming the soul Releasing it from pain making it whole He writes words of release that set me free He writes and I could read him endlessly Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 [This message has been edited by Marsha (01-22-2002 09:49 PM).] |

This could have been written as She Writes just as easily and I do know that as far as I’m concerned my favourite writers abound here are equally split between male and female. Kari darling sister of my heart thank you so very very much. Of course you know this could have been written for anyone of my special family of friends here. Just because it’s called He Writes it could have just as easily be called She Writes. Now I wonder which of my favourite writers it could be Hmmmm? Keth darling sister of my heart and holder of my soul, Oh you darling heart, YOU lie and you do it beautifully in perfect rhyme too. As for this little poem I’m fond of it as you know so you shine on sister of my soul and illume the dark Heart Sister Within my soul I had suffered and I’d cried My heart was wretched I moaned and I sighed My sister of heart came and she set me free She unwound the chains and gave me liberty Her words of wisdom echoed in my heart She brought me truth made me stand apart She gave me purpose she brought back hope I know without her I couldn’t, wouldn’t cope Inside my heart there’s a special sanctuary It’s lined with love this is her gift to me My sister of heart brought me back to life I was so confused I was beset with strife Magically she banished away all the fears And somehow she stopped my selfish tears She taught me to look to seek my destiny I found it then found myself miraculously There inside my spirit there is much more It now knows how to fly it can easily soar It was once bound in pain and locked out My sister of heart freed me without a doubt I don’t know how but she unlocked the cell Then set me running far away from my hell She showed me what love and faith can do And she did it for me because she wanted to Marsha Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 |
