A Poet's Mind Poetry, the words in line metered, versed to free the mind of memories piling, that manifest or futures paving, beholding quest. Dreamers dream the romance of attaching words that speak of love. Others write of woebegones, deepest sorrows, griefs and wrongs. But most of all, we write our hearts, clinging words that must impart. Gathering up, released in verse each Poet's thoughts, to read, immerse. And when digested, absorbed within, the Poet's mind, will again begin. M *another inspired poem [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (01-22-2002 07:44 AM).] |

(sigh) Sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, you speak of the essence of a poet so gorgeously in these wonderful words! (kiss on cheek) May we all forever embrace each new day with with both our joys and tears and write them out for all to behold! (smiles) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is sooooo beautifully inspiring! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Enjoyed M..yes it is funny how many poems we have stored away in our minds. ~Victoria~ You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses. |

SY,I was just reading and thinking how often one thinks a poem is meant for them..and in reality that is the sign of a good writer..if he can get that close and through to someone that they feel that way...but then again..we must remember a poet writes for the masses... thank you my friend for enjoying, as always, your words touch me, too. *s Maureen |
