Newborns look for their familiar mothers' breasts where they can be nurtured and their heads can safely rest; the artist grows to choose his expressive mode, external conditions he selects, and grows in his abode. I live in a world of governing bodies I do deplore but if I choose the comfort through purchases made at stores, I can skillfully select my means and my support and leave myself open to surrounding acceptance or retort. Welcome the new and away with the old discarded truths life, a game with a well shuffled deck and right cards suits, goes on to fresher plains to write and express and deals with issues that nurture and distress. Hi Martin, interesting piece although it sounds suspiciously like a farewell.... |

Good observation, this came out of the resolution to go to other websites that would be emoticon friendly, after the change in the old 'house' ![]() |

And I am glad to see you here, as well...Martin. I remember this poem and have always liked it because it speaks volumes. copyright2002 Lyra Nesius |
