I love you Despite yourself right now Even though at times You think I don’t And sometimes I wonder too We have lived and learned At least I hope I’m truly sorry I can’t Do exactly what you want When you want it The way you want it But I am trying and I am me, after all And I am still the one You fell in love with All those years ago The one that soothed you Back when you wanted it The one who protected you Or at least made you feel safe The one you confided in Told your deepest secrets The one you dreamed with And the one that helped you make life All that I ask from you For all my years of “toil” Are for many, many more To show you even more The sincere depth The wondrous warmth The miracle that is My Love 4 u Lets Love one another and let God do the worrying, Rodney [This message has been edited by Rodney Belcher (01-19-2002 09:58 PM).] |

Oh my gosh...I hope you read this poem to her...it will surely melt her heart and bring tears of joy and love to her eyes. I love it. **big hugs**  Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Well Star...we are currently separated and she isn't "in the mood to be lovey-dovey" and so I will wait to show it to her. I am hoping and praying that the time will be short until I have her in my arms again. But patience is not something I am known for...hence my earlier diatribe on "time"...lol...thank you for the kind words...Rod Lets Love one another and let God do the worrying, |

Good message and given the circumstances you revealed in your follow-up post this must have been both a difficult and cathartic thing to write. I hope things work for you to where you can read it to her and she will accept and receive it. |
