Day Dreaming About Night Dreams A secret smile on my face that draws a questioning gaze I still feel his warm embrace and walk around in a daze There’s a sparkle in my eyes as I try to do my job I don’t think they realize that I too have a heart throb I find myself humming tunes of many romantic works And feel in the afternoons the passion that in me lurks When I think of the content my eyes fill with wanting gleams That is how my day was spent day dreaming about night dreams Phantom lover you may be still I feel you close at hand The future’s clear I foresee we’ll find love in dreamer’s land Karen Torbiak 2002© Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
