Minor flaws with sharpened claws will oft' attack the hand that feeds them. Giving rise to "wheres" and "whys" of all those hidden things that breed them. When gnawing doubts scurry about (Oh Rats! I think I see one now!) I aim to please but they've got fleas that seem to bite me anyhow! The marks they leave you wouldn't believe ( unless, of course you can relate). My plight is that they make me write, and then insist I punctuate! A curse that's only getting worse, I scratch them, time, and time, again. (You see, I've used paren-thesis and added two extra hy-phens!) "Stop messing with my head" I've said, though always seems to no avail. From commas to apostrophies, I'm darned if I know heads from tails! "No fair" I say, " Please go away", and still it seems it's just no use. (That's why the work-shop is my home), I'm one psychotic mixed-up moose! An' that just ain't the half of it, there're things they call "Archaic" words. That oft' run through my poetry as if t'were mad dogs chasing birds! Does seem 'twas only yesterday I heard my pal "Canuckster" say, " Hey doc, those words are tres passe, could you please be more modern day?!" I dare not even mention rhyme, it clings to me like gooey slime, that's born of the primordial muck, Whoa, Duck! Here comes another truck- load stuck in limbo, wheels akimbo, whirling like a dervish where, does swerve that trucker( name of Jim), I know he makes this up ( I swear! ) And so my friends, it never ends, these little quirks just pester me, and I'm a jerk who's trying to work around them to write poetry! lmao off at this one doc. Tres, tres cute. I love the way you’ve done the rhyming scheme in this one. The whole thing brought a smile to my face. Love it. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Tracey, Sometimes it's just amazing the things you find when taking a little stroll through the ol' gray matter. |

Sunshine, Well, I can't say I set out to offer any kind of lesson with this, but, if you found one... you should seek help immediately! Thanks Doc |

Martie, You can tip toe through my tulips anytime as well. Thanks, Doc Denise, It certainly is cluttered in there. I keep trying to write some of it away, but it just keeps filling up! Oh well, spring cleaning is just around the corner... Thanks, Doc |
