Mysteria’s Snow Fairy

High upon the mountain’s top
Beneath a winter’s breeze
A little fairy sings her song
For her heart to please

You’d think she’d be ever so cold
There in the ice and snow,
But her cheeks are pink and fair
And she shimmers in her glow.

The stream runs down mountain’s top
She bathes in water clear
She holds court with owls and wolves
They shelter her from fear.

Her sisters of the spring and fall
Are with autumn in their sleep
Winter’s fairy keeps the watch,
When the snows fall ever deep.

Ice and crystals are her friends
She keeps them well in tune.
When you visit the mountaintop
You won’t find her there in June.

She will have left behind for you
Green holly and white snowdrops,
But never look for her, my dear, when
Snow comes to the mountaintop.

            Now, how did you whip that up so fast?
I sure wish I could do that!  What a lovely poem Karilea and I do thank you for her.
(Now aren't pictures kind of nice once in awhile?)
And...I traced your graphic back to the site, and guess who ordered a fairy? Isn't she cute?

*sigh* Oh how very beautiful..I have come to the conclusion that Mysteria is the fairy herself...her heart and soul belongs in the magical realm of fairy...BRAVO!!! I love it. **big hugs**
