Invisible My poem today is written with the flakes of fallen snow Upon the whiteness of a paper page the verses flow Ivory words in silken phrases on an ivory page Rhymes of empty heart in white upon an empty stage Nobody else can read my verses, though they do exist Invisible to eye, though by the winds they have been kissed Crystal flakes swept from the sky to land upon my face Glittering phrases on my page, in milky stars of lace You cannot see my poetry, I’ve camouflaged my soul Onto a field of snowy white within a papers fold The one who can unravel poet’s page to take a look Will find a poem in ivory words within a crystal book My poem today is written with the stars of snowy sea The only one who’ll ever know the sorrow there is me Elizabeth Santos |

Oh Elizabeth, this penning alone makes me imagine all of the lovely, albeit sad verses yet to come forth from you...every once in a while fill that ink pen, dear, and let us read your heart, for you are safe here among friends... and that, you can take to the bank! |

Dearest Liz; beauty and wonder fills your poetic pages and I hear the depth of your heart here. My prayers are with you, keep me in yours too. Love and hugs; Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

This is incredible Liz. I too would like to know how you do this. These same words are in my dictionary but they never seem to fit into my poetry as nicely as they do in yours. Enjoyed this very much! |

I feel winter has taken a toll on a lot of us. In that way..where we draw back into the darkness..Maybe not your way..but is mine. Perhaps we should start a friendship fire dear poet and become warm again..never invisible. Sincerely, Regina |

You may hide in white on white, but you'd be given away you know. you'd think you were invisible, but your loving heart would show. The words you used in this one were simply beautiful Liz, and melted down on the page like hot butter (gee that sounded good! lol) ~* CARPE' DIEM *~ |
