Neon Light - Man needs a Harbor for the Ages I think for me it would be the Lighthouse. To shine above all others when lost in the sea of uncertainty and mixed illusions. I would like to be, to quote a Romantic, "Unchangable, the same." But not others. I like to think of them as Liquid Metal because they can never stop moving. It helps to visulize Mercury, that unstable, nervous element, that would wither a dead man's hand. You can't put it past them, natural things I mean. All is glitz and glamour and Money. For them, the light is neon. Caminus Ignis Ventosus Stillicidium |

Wow, such powerful imagery fills your words, sweet friend, what a wonderful way to symbolize both the beauty of the world to the greed! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is a wonderful perspective! Welcome to Passions, sweet friend, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! We all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Oceanus, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (01-18-2002 03:41 PM).] |

This is a wonderful, meaningful poem! For me, my liht would that of the sun, the moon, and the stars! Neon is way too gaudy which is your point, I suppose...lol. No, no, a poet cannot have a Neon light. That won't do a'tall. We have to have something grand and romantic and meaningful! Excellent writing, my friend! |

Welcome. This is a very interesting post. By your words, I am guessing maybe you live a bit too close to Malibu or Santa Monica, and the Hollywood aura. (Close to my old stomping grounds) |
