Lyra, when you smile like this all the wrinkles disappear from your face and when you write like this you are ageless. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Lyra, You need to speak up. I don't read as loud as I used too. Every man needs a woman like you to keep them feeling young. Roger |

I read your critique note, but I just don't see anything wrong with this one! I liked, no, I LOVED this!!! It has such a wonderful quality to it. We may grow older, but our hearts grow bigger, filling up with all the love we've had in our lives previously. I'm in my twenties, but as each years goes by I'm learning to love better! This was great! Well done!!! Bravo!!! |

Floria, Juanita, Lauren, Noah and Melton...thank you all for your nice replies.... This was a fun poem to write. I actually started writing it in the dentist's office while I was having my teeth cleaned. copyright2002 Lyra Nesius "poetry is life distilled" Gwendolyn Brooks [This message has been edited by Madame Chipmunk (01-19-2002 12:36 AM).] |
