“BLUESY GUITAR” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Listen to the music, sexy it is, rhythm inside, wanting to sway… Eyes closed, can’t hold back, these chords, which I play… Standing on stage, looking out, someone, to catch my eye… Searching, hips moving around, sevenths, elevenths, to amplify… Dreamy inside, you’re there, body moving, as soft as you can… Thoughts drift, no words spoken, tonight, is where it all began… Your smile charms, you’ll wait, as I sing to you, one more bar… Now close to you on the floor, with you, and this bluesy guitar… ~~~~ |
