A lover's light spring's forth the night shining so soon Bitterness brought happiness sought facing the moon Romance can burn so hearts can learn a heaven's touch Reaching the stars seeking one's Mars escaping such What do we find but peace of mind holding us true Confronting fear with moment near I moon for you |

Craig, I was really in rhythm with this one, and then the ending made me do a double take.(Pun intended here) You are mooning someone? LOL, I'm sure that's not the kind of mooning you intended. (Promise not to be mad at me?) |

I'll admit, my mind was with Kacy's on that last line. But I don't think that's how you intended it is it? Lol This is a lovely poem Craig. It flows along beautifully. Romance can burn so hearts can learn a heaven's touch Love those lines If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

The thought never came to mind .... butt .... LOL I was trying to reflect the thought of facing love in that last line. Perhaps your insights have more to vision (hehe) [This message has been edited by ctowen (01-17-2002 01:38 AM).] |

I like the format and the rhyme scheme between stanzas. It has a nice cadence and flow to it. As for the "mooning," I actually got what you intended without noticing the alternate reading so aptly pointed out by others. That's unusual .... usually I'm the first to note these things. Congratulations to those who got there first! never try to teach a pig to sing |

I must be feeling a bit old .... to "moon" someone in a romantic sense is to show them love's interests. I am glad I did not use the word "pie". Yes Duncan, I am too! I have been saving that for a dark and rainy night! lol Seymour, the "end" isn't everything! Canuckster, I wonder what the view would be of the last one ... I guess that would be "hindsight". Sandra/Marge, thank you both for your compliments. |

LOL, Craig, you are funny sometimes. Thanks for not throwing rotten apples back at the audience. But if you did, we could bake you an apple pie. |

Peaches and apple's ... oh my!! Thank you Peaches, I am glad to know not everyone saw the same picture as some, its made me a bit reddened (in an embarassing kind of way). Kacy, I try to share wisdom and smiles whenever possible ... but no rotten apples, just a very blue moon. I have seen some night shots of Alaska's skyline ... seen some pretty big moons myself. lol |

Hello Craig Another beautiful flow of words from you. I must confess though that I was thinking along the same lines as Tracey & Kacy, sorry! But that took nothing away from this lovely piece of writing. Take care......Sue Suetang |

The moon rises, though sometimes unseen. Yet the pull of her is always there to draw thee in... to face her and all her wiles. Most Lovely, Lady Ollyne "O, learn to read what silent love hath writ: |

Lauren, peace of mind can take one to great distances. Thank you for your read as always. Noah, thank you, its good to hear you giggle!! Glad to share that smile. Kay, a pleasure!! Thank you. Sue, et tu?? I wonder if it would look any different in the land downunder?? Barry ... I hope you closed your eyes at the highpoint of it all. Thanks!! Tara, I hope your muse was'nt shocked into inspiration by my moon ... MEDIC!! Lady O, gravity does have an effect on my moon ... but I don't think those were "wiles"!!! Thank you, one and all, for your comments, especially those who felt the need for a little release! |
