Eternity and Me

There is a day not far away
As minutes and hours may claim
A speck of time not even worth
A moment for the moon to wane

A distant star upon the rise
With a voice that speaks my name
Whispered in the night, far away
About a future, I hope to claim

As seconds pause on every clock
They’ve lost the will, to move
And hours crawl, at eons pace
Delaying my lips, from touching you

Infinite is a second, when love
Is away from its other flame
Even the dust of dying stars
Seems short to a heart in pain

But brief is time to the outer world
Like a tear in a storm at sea
And I’ll be there just a month away
A month, an eternity, an eternity to me.

This says a lot to me Park. Mainly it says someone is a lucky girl!
I hate it when I have to wait for something, even a day or two can seem like forever.
Beautiful write, my friend.

Ahh P-man this is so lovley...the poetic phrasing is delightful as is your cadence...
this just dances and rolls off the tongue when read aloud
Classic poetry here...the ache...the conflict...the imagery ...the hope ... the moon...
all adds up to a P-man penned swoon

I love this line:

Even the dust of dying stars
Seems short to a heart in pain

now how gorgeous is that...."the dust of dying stars" ... oh man!!!
You worked the metaphor of time in this to poetic perfection.
Very very nice write P-man..very nice indeed.

Even thru the darkest phase, be it thick or thin
Always someone marches brave, here beneath my skin
Constant Craving ... has always been.

Oh this brought so many things to mind,
but the thing is brought most to mind
was what someone said to me once
"no timetables" if we could only "feel" eternity!

This poem speaks so clearly to that.

I enjoyed, very much

*sigh* this is so beautiful...it sang with the music of the stars as I read it...Your ability with words is stunning....you weave magic with your pen. A mere second can seem like an eternity when we are in love. BRAVO!!! I love it. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

*sigh*....yes...youve taken the scribbles from my pen, and put them here..you do write them better than i..lol  time does seem to stand still doesnt it...."even the dust of dying stars seems short" compared to the waiting.....wow..what a way to put it...!

soon...everything comes about eventually..
the wait will fade into oblivion.....soon...
