Though darkness has to settle
O'er the quiet land each night
And it may seem bleak and dreary
This is when our hopes take flight.
The thoughts I keep inside my heart
Wend their way to my mind
And in the morn, a treasure's there
I never hoped to find.
In my loving dreams I'm happy
And my weary soul's at peace
When dreams sing their song inside my heart
With no melodic cease.
No matter what your dream is
Listen for its serenade
And you'll feel your own doubts leave you
And away your fears will fade.
So when the morning breaks once more
To bring a bright new day
The dream will have left you courage
That in your soul will stay.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Well done!

*grin* I don't know how you did it but you hit the nail on the head. Dreams give me the strength and hope I need to carry on. That is why I love to write them. This Dreamy Song is absolutely wonderful. Thank you. **hugs**
