Calm surrounds me as nearness bathes in light. Alone, mind brings a swirling storm's might. Strongest branches of my tree sway and bend as lost leaves of thought fall with the wind Golden flight of memories soar in the breeze given to the moment that I do swiftly seize Aching for love's treasured words for two. Wishing, hoping to simply say...I love you. Listen to my heart echo within a soul, your own. Yearn as I do, for when apart we are alone. Take my every word and bathe in it ever pure. Golden beams of lover's lives shiningly endure. Walk with me as you go through life this day I, kept within you in a dearly special way Know that this soul remains eternal life long. For we as one became love's symphony of song. |

Golden beams of lover's lives shiningly endure. ==================================== this is wonderful writing... your cadence and rhyme made this a treat to read aloud... and the sentiments and longing wrap around the reader. that verse above is so romantic and touching in its devotion and so lovely in its poetic phrasing. very well done poet sir You're the hidden cost and the thing that's lost in everything I do. |
