I soared above anger, On wings that lifted me from this danger Looked down, able see, The source of all my ire Lying deep below the surface, Entranced by satan's fire Flames of this indignation, Captured by this rage Climbing now towards heaven, Escaping from wrath's cage As I gazed upon the face of God I understood so clearly, The destructiveness of this one emotion This one we know as fury |
