‘Deer's wife was walking down their upstairs hall When she heard humming from her daughter's room. She peered inside and noticed her daughter with a toy So inquired, "Dear, what is it that you've been doin?" Her daughter remarked, with saddened face, "I'm homely as Dad, 35, and I'll never be wed. "So I've bought a toy that I play with each day, "It's as close to a husband that I'll ever get." Later that week, ‘Deer was in the kitchen, When he heard humming in the powder room. He found his daughter with her favorite toy, So inquired, "Dear, what is it that you've been doin?" His daughter remarked, with saddened face, "I'm homely as you, 35, and I'll never be wed. "So I've bought a toy that I play with each day, "It's as close to a husband that I'll ever get." A couple days later, Deer's wife heard the humming, From the living room, and what she saw, Was ‘Deer on the couch with the daughter's toy, "I'm watching the Lakers with our new son-in-law." That ‘Deer - I'll bet he didn't share his beer, though. |
