In my garden are no flowers
they demand too many hours
work until they're ripe for pickin'
so I just grow rubber chickens

Humor them with fertilizer
older now but none the wiser
when those little fellers sprout
off the cuff I pull one out

They may not be good for eatin'
you might say that I'm a cretin
rubber chicken pickin' fool
but I think them boids is cool!

Curly, Moe, and Larry used 'em
Red and Milty didn't refuse 'em
Gallagher, that fruit fanatic
beat 'em with a sledge-o-matic!

Call me "Psycho", "Whacked", or "Foolish"
But I have one simple rule(ish)
"Ain't no load of crap here fella,
this is grade"A" stuff I tell ya!"

Yes-sir-ree-Bob it's for real
next year pendin' how I feel
good Lord willin' here's the deal
I'll slip in bananna peels !

ROTFL, this is great! I've seen those rubber chickens, and they are disgusting! But then  real chickens really do smell worse.
And will those banana peels be rubber?

Love it. I needed this bit of humour tonight

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Love the poem. I collect chickens and I DO have a rubber one!!! He used to hang from my rear view mirror - and he's not a tiny one, he's full size...hung all the way to the floor he did!
