woosh where did all these comments come from? lol -- thanks for your thoughts peoples! i like the comment "music is love in search of a word", it seems to me a tanka can be built from that statement without too much effort. rosepetals, quite a few of my recent posts are tankas. i have this sudden and annoying affinity toward form. hopefully i'll get over it before too long and return to blank/free verse. faterider, let me see if i understand your question ... you are asking how one who doesn't know the meaning of love can be lost to those who also do not know the meaning. well... i think i choose a vauge sort of answer for now: the word "meaning" does not appear in "love song", now does it.  cheerfulness all. |
