The trail was quiet again today, alone with my thoughts drifting on the downhill. Easy thoughts, not even noticing the sun beginning to set. I thought about time, while viewing the countryside and how in the space of minutes I knew from your touch, that you would be special to me. Words wrapped around my heart, squeezing out the pain of the past, bringing tears to eyes that once cried only of loss, instead that day, weeped from the warmth and comfort of your arms. I saw in you, something others couldn't see. From the soft brown boyish curls that framed your face, to the rich blue of eyes, that captured me and held me in their glance. Strong, yet gentle hands, that could pull me towards lips waiting to be caressed and oh how wonderful the kiss. Thoughts continued, as I began the uphill climb, and filled my lungs with the coolness of the late Autumn air. I listened to words playing over and over, I'll be missing you , remembering how you always said those words... not your thoughts, but mine. How I am always missing you even before I turn to leave, feeling a sadness that almost spoiled the moments before. How can one not miss someone they love, when not together? It isn't so much the missing, as the not wanting to part. And so today, I am missing you like crazy, knowing you are alone with your thoughts, strengthening your mind and body, while I place these words, especially for you, to read upon your return. Each mile I passed, your face was before me, reminding me, encouraging me to continue, to not give up hope and as I reached the end, my breathing relaxed, my mind cleared. I whispered a thank you in the shadows, knowing tonight you will feel my thoughts carried by the night air, covering the distance, reaching out to touch you with my love. ~Wynter "For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. |

"I'll Be Missing You" - John Waite, the 80's Maybe the wrong song but the right idea. You must have found a time and place to let your true self be known ... "sometimes it has to be for all to see to exercise at being wise inorder to be free" I hope you hear the echo of the wind rather than its silence. Be well and keep a smile!! |

thank you all...my mind is overactive lately, just missing what I no longer have... trying to keep a touch of real in my fantasy. ~Wynter "For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. |
