Out of my Dreams You came to me tenderly out of my dreams Though the touch of your hand was not fantasy’s whim For you wrapped me in warmth like a blanket of beams Flowing out from the first blush of dawn’s ruby rim You appeared from a vision held deep in desire Though your face, not a misty mirage of the mind For I saw in your eyes a reflection of fire From the flame of a candle left burning behind You came into my life from a long ago time All the years in between were erased by a kiss As the dawning’s vermillion radiance defined The sweet truth that an immortal love does exist You walked out of the dark into stars of the night It was not an illusion of mystified eyes For your kiss was the glory of lover’s delight Revealed in the essence of star laden skies Pure ecstasy sometimes is gently unfurled In the dream of a dreamer’s reality world And a poet can make any fanatsy true But in this verse, the truth is the realness of you Elizabeth Santos |

*sigh* what a perfect poem to start my day with. Now I will go to work and dream that fantasies might become realities. Yes, the perfect way to start my weekend too. **hugs** I love it. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

When there is the truth and the realness, then all the dreams are that much richer. Such a beautiful write and filled with so many treasures for lines that I couldn't pick a favorite if I wanted to. I always enjoy reading yoir creations and this one holds it's own special appeal. Well done and wonderfully crafted. |

oh *sigh*. . . Liz, you touch all the right chords with this one. . . ----------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

We shall speak of this one LOL, and on that pleasant note, I now will go hug my pillow. Thank you for a "wish to build a dream on". ~*~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |

Thank you dear poet friends for reading and commenting on my fantasies and realities. I hope you aren't still hugging your pillow, Sharon. Write a poem instead! LOve to all Liz |
