In desert born, I found my soul not knowing that was my eventual goal In hidden pool of ancient lore the waters designed to make me soar Looked over in perpetual by ancient ones waiting for the chosen under their suns Foothills to lead to sun baked plain hidden in mystery of triumph and pain To those who know, it is certain bliss when the winds come out with their kiss Sunsets are treasures for eyes to behold sunrise foretells of peace to enfold After rare rain and thunder boom the plain is cloaked with a carpet of bloom Seed laying dormant for just such time to be kissed with this fall of musical chime It seems to be magic, all the change this land of familiar, and yet so strange So lead me back, where my soul did begin where the ancient ones called me their friend Once again to soak, in sacred clear pool accepting waters of life, this is the rule To absorb the strengths of the land and myth wrapping in the cocoon of faith forthwith And then to leave, though wanting to stay with my soul telling me, there will be another day But born again like phoenix rise to face the outside world with no disguise What you will see, is the real me born of the desert, my soul is free |

Logan--You touch the length of desert sand, that swirls the winds around again. |

Your words bloom like a fragile desert flower, which in spite of its fragility, has the strength to withstand the fiercest thunderstorms and flash floods. " To absorb the strengths of the land and myth wrapping in the cocoon of faith forthwith And then to leave, though wanting to stay with my soul telling me, there will be another day But born again like phoenix rise to face the outside world with no disguise What you will see, is the real me born of the desert, my soul is free" I will treasure this one, and keep a copy of it with my pressed desert flowers collection. |

Okay, now, Logan, hon, I know you wrote this for me! Okay, well, I'm selfish enough to think that anyway, and even if you didn't, it does sing to me, yes it does and you knew it would. Cor |
