Lies... tiny missiles of untruths aimed at the hearts of those closest to us. When inflicted, they cause... Mistrust... a by-product of lies, and the little holes they leave in one’s heart. The holes become valleys of... Uncertainty... the twin brother of Doubt, who is known to take away one’s self-confidence. Then the one being lied to suffers from... Humiliation... master at making the lied-to one feel like a fool. And then the fool is armed with... Bitterness... it sinks in and permeates the very soul of the innocent. The main purpose is to fuel... Revenge: the strongest of them all. It keeps the circle going, by propogating more... Lies... None of us are exempt, not even you... The road goes on forever, the stories never end, and people are the same the world over! |
