She stands alone, she hurts He is too young to understand In the dark of night, she gives birth The tears of her youth she sheds She spends one day Thoughts are many Parents would go crazy Friends where are they In the early cool morning She wraps the baby in warmth One more suckle from her breasts Hurries before the sun rises She leaves the bundle of life Cheeks so soft, a great smile On doorsteps, with hope of care She turns, not looking back As she hears the baby's cries She now has but a day's memories Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

beautiful...sad, but so very true...such a hardship for a young mother to endure... Such courage...but at the same time...such fear...and so alone...both of them... |
