With age comes wisdom True Yet not always For some Still wallowing In adolesence Maturity never captured Adult gray haired children Play time every day Temper tantrum Don't get their way Growing up so numb Reality hard to face Childhood easier For some to hold Onto Responsibility Accountability Words to be feared Sarcasm their greatest virtue Blaming others A crutch Their holy grail Defensive to a fault Government for their parents Dependant Lifelong support Boot straps still untouched |

A sad but true commentary on the mindset of too many people. Very well expressed, Robert! |

Sir Robert, Some people refuse to grow up and others aren't able. Me, I hold on to the hope it's never to late for a good childhood. |
