Doxology We all search for the golden ring We’re all cut from a silver string. Some search in and some search out But that we search there is no doubt. Some search the sea for answers there Some climb the mountains in despair. Some search a sacred inner home Some search the outer face of stone. Some treat life with a velvet glove Some think the answer lays in love. We do the dictates of our heart That is the most important part. Some hold the string until the end Some reach and twist in symbols bend And some will say we don’t exist And some will swear, beyond the mist. But truth lays in Pandora’s box Beyond its lid lays paradox. [This message has been edited by Seymour Tabin (edited 11-19-2001).] |

everything here is a memory in a way, cause we all do it. I think it's in MUSIC and oh, poetry of course. sometimes we just have to stop looking and surrender to ourselves! Carolina |

I sigh when I read the wisdom of Sy. This is a very fine treat to start my day. Yes, we all search, and the pathways can be very different, indeed. |

We all search onward, Seymour. You are right, but perhaps we try too hard? I think it's very possible the answers we seek lie within and before us, but we are too busy to notice their worth. Thanks for the pondering. *S* All writing comes |

Ah, Sy, you set the gray cells scrambling with this one....and I think it is indeed a paradox. The beauty of life is in the search. If one is not searching, one is not living. When the search ends, so does life. May we continue searching for a long time!! |

Lone Wolf, Thank you for the thoughtful comment. Balladeer, An obvious and practical answer I can't say no to that. |
